1. Прибыль или убыток в местной валюте, возникающий из-за наличия валютных денежных статей в течение периода за который изменился курс обмена. См. Конвертация иностранной валюты (Foreign Currency Translation).
2. Внереализационным доходом (расходом) признается доход (расход) в виде положительной (отрицательной) курсовой разницы, полученной от переоценки имущества и требований (обязательств), стоимость которых выражена в иностранной валюте, в том числе по валютным счетам в банках, проводимой в связи с изменением официального курса иностранной валюты к рублю Российской Федерации, установленного Центральным банком Российской Федерации (п. 11 ст. 250 НК РФ, п. 5 ст. 265 НК РФ).
